Yoga at MarMo Plaza

Yoga Shala

The Yoga Shala of Galveston is a nurturing place for underserved individuals providing an alternative pathway for healing, fully supported by community donations. It's an honor to give our time in this way and we know yoga heals lives, which heals families and ultimately heals communities.

Yoga is an ancient art that teaches us to be present in the moment. We hope that our students experience the joy that this practice brings us. Our Shala has something for everyone, and at all levels including Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin and Gentle Hatha classes.

“We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.”
